troubleshooting

If you are experiencing an issue with your Pixply device, this page will help you quickly identify and resolve common problems. Many issues can be resolved in just a few simple steps.

Startup Issues

My Pixply device does not turn on. What should I check?
  • Make sure the power source is connected properly and the cable is firmly plugged in.
  • Check the power source and make sure it provides at least 2A output and is working properly.
  • Check the cable and ensure it is not damaged. We recommend using the dedicated Pixply cable or a USB A to USB C cable.
  • Check the USB socket and make sure it is clean and not blocked by dust or any object.
How can I recognize if my Pixply device is on?
After connecting the power source to your Pixply device, it will turn on automatically because there is no power button.
If the device lights up and shows the device name, the Pixply brand name, or a startup animation on the board, this means the device is on and working. If the board remains completely dark, please check the power source and cable.
The Pixply app cannot find my device. What should I check?
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and that the Pixply device is powered on. Keep your phone close to the board and try reconnecting through the app.
I cannot connect Pixply to the app via Bluetooth. What should I do?
Turn Bluetooth off and on again on your phone and restart the Pixply app. Then try connecting to the device again from the app.
Where can I find the activation code?
The activation code is provided with your Pixply device. It is printed on a scratch card in business card size included in your Pixply package.
Scratch the marked area on the card to reveal the code, then enter all 16 characters in the activation field in the Pixply app.
The activation code does not work. What should I do?
  • Make sure the scratching process did not damage or remove any characters on the card
  • Check that the activation code was entered exactly as shown
  • Make sure there are no spaces before or after the code
  • The code is case sensitive, so the letters must be entered exactly as written
  • Make sure your phone is still connected to the Pixply device via Bluetooth while entering the code
The device is on but the app still does not work. What should I check?
Make sure the Pixply device is powered on, Bluetooth is enabled, and the app is updated to the latest version. Restarting the app and reconnecting the device may also help.
