Pixply App Declaration

This page explains the permissions, data use, and third party services used by the Pixply App. These declarations satisfy the transparency requirements of Apple and Google, and help you understand why the App requests access to certain features on your device.

Permissions Used by the App

Bluetooth
Required to pair with the Pixply digital game board and to transmit commands, settings, and game data between your device and the Pixply board. The App cannot function without this permission.

Internet Access
Used during the initial activation process, for validating activation codes, downloading updates, checking firmware availability, and receiving in-app notifications. Internet is not required for basic offline gameplay once activation is complete.

Notifications (Optional)
Used to display optional reminders such as firmware availability, content updates, or support messages. You may disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

Video Upload (Optional)
Used only when you choose to record or upload a video inside PixStudio to explain your custom game rules or content. Videos are stored locally and uploaded only if you intentionally submit them for support or sharing.

Image Upload (Optional)
Used only when you choose to upload images within PixStudio to create or customise layouts. Images remain on your device unless you manually choose to share them.

Data and Diagnostics

To operate the App and verify ownership of the Pixply board, the App may transmit limited diagnostic and activation related data to Pixply Ltd, including:

• Phone model and operating system version
• IP address at the time of activation
• Bluetooth identifier and name of the Pixply board
• Activation code provided with your Pixply package

This data is used exclusively to confirm genuine ownership, prevent unauthorised access, provide necessary support, and maintain device security.
The App does not collect location data, contact lists, financial information, or sensitive personal data.

The App does not track behaviour for advertising, does not use advertising identifiers, and does not create marketing profiles.

Third Party Services

The App may use limited third party services for support and file handling, including:

Make (Integromat)
Used for safely receiving optional support files (images or videos) that you choose to upload.

Google Drive
Used only as a secure storage location for the files you intentionally submit during support requests.

These services are not used for analytics, advertising, or tracking.

Accounts

The App does not require or create user accounts. No login or registration is needed to use any current features.
